Manage communications and information for the $1 billion Capital and Community Development Program. Must be able to gather and disseminate data and analysis among technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare PowerPoint presentations, process all internal and external requests for information, and maintain website. By working with the project controls team and project managers, manager is responsible for ensuring real-time access to useful and accurate information on project issues and status is available to senior management. Frequent other duties are assigned as required.
Preferred candidate shall possess a BS/BA in Communications, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of two years experience working with the government sector. Candidate must be highly proficient in Adobe, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in Photoshop desirable. Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, work well under frequent pressure and short deadlines, and possess the ability to gather information from technical and non-technical staff. Must take initiative in preparing information for senior management, use independent judgment and discretion in setting priorities, promote a positive image for the organization, exhibit a positive “can-do” attitude and team work approach to achieving results, demonstrate continuous effort to improve and streamline operations, and exhibit comfort in working on multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
Compensation: $50,000 – $70,000 annually (plus benefits)
