JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summer internship with the SVP, Business Development – www.linkedin.com/pub/0/045/808. Candidate will be exposed to executive sales process, client relationships, & strategic development. Specifically, candidate will support the business development function as the SVP builds on key client relationships. Numerous special projects will also be introduced around strategic deals. Position is set up as a mentorship to develop candidates exposure to executive decision making and entrepreneurship.

SKILLS:

• Detail Oriented: Must be able to manage the minutiae. Must be organized, logical, and possess analytical abilities and skills.
• Communication: Intern will interface with clients, team members, and internal staff on a daily basis. Must be an effective communicator, able to explicitly convey clear and concise directions and information to clients, interoffice departments, and immediate team members.
• Discretion: Must understand the implicit confidentiality of SVP communications.
• Analytics: Comfortable with financial and business modeling.

PREFERRED CAPABILITIES:

• High/advanced level of Excel skill is greatly preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• 1-2 years work experience.
• Market Research or sales experience is a bonus.
