OffBeat Magazine has been publishing monthly since 1988, and we are working to get our entire 22-year history of article archives up online on our website. These archives represent a historical treasure trove of information about the music, art, cuisine, and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana in the past quarter-century and beyond. Much of the information was never published elsewhere and would be a huge, open asset available to the public.

But we need help! We currently have text-formatted PDFs of every issue and we're looking for volunteers to help us put it online. Because the text was not converted perfectly, it also needs to be checked against the actual publication. We’re looking for volunteers who would like to help go through these old issues and fix these errors so that the articles can be made available to the public in their correct form.
