Part Time Assistant to Owner

Alexa Pulitzer LLC seeks an enthusiastic Assistant to the Owner of growing stationary & home goods brand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication & graphic design skills, a professional presentation, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, is self-motivated, flexible and a fast learner.

Duties include:
• Create custom orders using InDesign
• Order entry into Quickbooks
• Manage and facilitate phone, email and mail communication with vendors & clients
• Maintain meticulous paper and electronic files
• Update accounts payables and receivables
• Ship & receive packages
• Research, draft and/or edit correspondence on Pulitzer’s behalf
• Assist with preparation of trunk & trade shows
• Coordinate packing and shipping of orders
• Order office supplies
• Process Outgoing & Incoming Mail. Updating Pulitzer according to priority.
• Conduct all aspects of entire Pulitzer sales process including: client prospecting, articulating products and understanding customer needs, creating quotes, taking orders, order maintenance, shipping, follow up.

Qualifications:
• College degree
• Strong administrative experience
• Experience in high end stationary manufacturing and/or retail preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
• Excellent computer skills Word, Outlook, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop and Quickbooks preferred
• Excellent graphic design skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse personalities
• Knowledge of and interest in high-end paper products, international retail and brand development
• Pro-active, positive, problem-solving attitude
• Organized, considerate & detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic and loyalty
• Have the ability to work effectively within a team or alone
