We are seeking passionate and multi-faceted people who wish to take part in the continual creation of the cyber-portal of New Orleans, humidbeings.com, in the following areas:

Research
Data Entry
Writing
Mapping
Photography
Promotions
Social Media
Video Production

Experience can be a limited knowledge of New Orleans neighborhoods, events and culture. Knowledge of google docs and use of Social Networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook along with an enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a start-up venture combined with a willingness to be trained are the requirements for this position. This is an unpaid internship opportunity. But we are looking for eager and curious hard workers. And we guarantee it will be very educational and fun.

Your "typical" work day could be researching for our Nolapedia pages, entering events into the CMS or delivering promotional materials around town for an event. You could be taking pictures of businesses for our Places section or entering, tagging and filing video. You could be helping to organize an event, inputting data or writing a feature. As you can see, we offer an opportunity for you to gain experience in multiple fields with the only requirement being your willingness to learn and follow instructions to meet deadlines.

No dress code but please be on time for assignments.
