Do you post regularly on Twitter? Have a Flickr or Photobucket account? Do you blog on Wordpress? Tumblr? If you answered yes to these questions, we're interested in speaking to you. We are seeking a social media intern.

Individual must be a creative, innovative, risk taker who is not afraid to think outside of the box and make an impact within the department as well as the organization. We require our interns to bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.

An interest and knowledge of Louisiana history would also be very beneficial!

Responsibilities:
• Updates and maintains Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts.
• Researches and participates in brainstorming sessions regarding social media initiatives.
• Cultivates and maintains Blogger relationships.
• Writes and edits content for various platforms.

Requirements:
• Prior experience with social media platforms including Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Bit.ly, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Delicious, Wordpress and Flickr.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Photoshop and/or InDesign.
