Marketing and Communications Manager- Responsible for the creation and implementation of nonprofit community development organization’s overall marketing strategy with particular emphasis on home sales. Creates and implements comprehensive and multi-faceted an outreach, recruitment and home sales marketing plan as well as a tracking system to monitor the effectiveness of the plan. Oversees the organization’s marketing presence including: print and internet presence, and social networking opportunities to increase the organization’s visibility in the community. Serves as a member of the organization team in effecting strategies to revitalize Central City .
Successful applicant will possess knowledge and understanding of both New Orleans market demographics and niche marketing strategies as well as an understanding of low income home sale marketing. We are seeking an individual with a commitment to community development, familiarity with community outreach strategies and the ability to multi-task and prioritize various assignments with minimum supervision. Position supervises home sales agent and community liaisons and therefore must have previous supervisory experience and a proven track record as working as a member of a team. Full time benefited position with competitive nonprofit salary.
