Position Status: Part-time; approx. 10 hrs. / month

Reports to the Youth Think Tank Director

Overall Responsibilities

To ensure that the Youth Think Tank is facilitated in a manner that optimizes its mission, to restore normal adolescence of the young citizens of Central City by recognizing the wealth of knowledge, experience, and resources that exist with youth. The Youth Think Tank seeks information on youth violence and its underlying causes in an effort to focus youth wisdom into solutions.

Key Task and Responsibilities

•Design a facilitation methodology to be approved by the Central City Partnership.
•Work with the Outreach Coordinator to recruit former and new participants.
•Work with the Outreach Coordinator to secure a site that is appropriate for Youth Think Tank sessions.
•Develop individual session work plans and materials.
•Document session results
•Report back to Youth Committee and Project Director

•Have reliable transportation
•Be able to attend bi-monthly Youth Committee Meetings on Thursday’s at 10:00 AM.
