Lingua Linkup is a New Orleans based company that offers language classes, translation and cultural education.
We are currently looking for a talented intern to assist us in marketing and other programming. A great opportunity for students interested in gaining skills in online marketing, modern marketing techniques and small business entrepreneurship. Administrative duties are kept to a minimum and hours are flexible.
Duties:
Marketing – assist in developing a Lingua Linkup blog – Send out monthly newsletters and other email correspondence as necessary – Consistently record progress on Google analytics and record client characteristics – Maintain a database of clients with contact information – Update website as needed – Assist in developing online marketing via social networking sites – Assist in developing traditional marketing methods
Administrative – Email out timesheets to instructors – Respond to inquiries via email and/or phone – Assist supervisor in organizing files and other records – Project assistant on special classes and projects
Qualifications – Must have experience with blogs and other online marketing tools – Web design skills a plus. – Fluency in a second language is a plus – Must have an attention for detail, good record keeping skills, reliability and maturity – Creativity, energy, drive and positivity are a must.
