Our company is offering an exciting marketing internship. The intern will help with the company’s social / digital media activities.

Created in 2009, Rebirth Financial is an online platform whose purpose is to act as a financial engine to facilitate growth and development in Louisiana. The company’s founders created this company to reverse the slowing trend that began during the financial crisis of 2008-2009, in Louisiana’s recovery from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Rebirth Financial connects individual lenders and financial institutions with the businesses that need their loans the most to finance growth of, and expansion within, Louisiana’s small business sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Write tweets, Facebook posts.
• Interact with our customers to align service of their needs with our corporate objectives
• Be the eyes and ears of our brand as if your own reputation depended on it
• Build and maintain our content distribution network by way of social media channels
• Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the brands we represent and report these to appropriate parties.
• Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites.
• Conduct keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases
• Create and update daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience
• Is eager to learn and gain valuable real-world experience
• Has experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field. No professional experience is acceptable
• Dedicated and passionate about using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media

This is currently an unpaid part-time position.
