Gameloft, an international publisher and developer of video games, is seeking a gifted Lead Programmer to help create the next generation of exciting new games. Qualified candidates will work with imaginative design teams to create a wide range of new game IP, from hardcore shooters to casual sims. Our hit iPhone games include – Oregon Trail, Hero of Sparta I & II, NOVA, Avatar, Dungeon Hunter, NFL 2010, Real Soccer 2010, New York Nights, Assassin's Creed, Terminator Salvation, Asphalt 5, Let's Golf and Gangstar 1&2. As a key member of the development team, you'll take charge of the initial concept and game design and see it through to final delivery.

The Nitty-Gritty:
Programmer in all relevant technical languages (C/C++).
Analyzing existing games for ways to improve graphics quality.
Optimizing 3D rendering to reach best possible FPS.
Adapting graphical methods to different platforms to get the best performance.
Writing shaders to add higher quality effects to existing games.

Must-haves/ know-how:
3+ years of professional programming experience (Strong knowledge C/C++).
Knowledgeable in 3D rendering algorithms (Strong 3D math skills).
Experienced in 3D graphics programming in games (Strong OpenGL skills).
Experienced in writing shaders.
Experience with 3D Studio Max.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Ability to optimize code (memory/speed) to maximize the capabilities of each platform.
Program in a methodical and structured manner.
Motivated, self starter, creative thinker, ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to switch between different projects quickly and easily.
Strong personal interest in videogames and a solid understanding of the associated culture.

You'll earn brownie points if you have:
Strong knowledge of video games on mobile phones and the iPhone/Android.
