About the film:
Flood Streets is an ultra low budget, indie film that's been winning awards and getting rave reviews from critics after it's film festival debut in April. Written, filmed, edited and entirely produced in New Orleans by New Orleanians, Flood Streets follows a diverse group of creative malcontents as they struggle to find love, money, and marijuana one year after Katrina.

The film is already something of a miracle in that we had 42 actors, 112 extras, 48 script locations, 23 musicians, 5 cameras, 25 shooting days, dozens of artists, and hundreds of props and pieces of set dressing. And all that was done by locals on a budget that wouldn’t cover half a day of filming for a regular "low budget" movie. You know you want to be a part of this!

About the Job:
We're at the end of our budget, so unfortunately this is an unpaid position, but if you complete a successful internship with us, we will work to make this a valuable experience for you including: – giving you an imdb credit on the film – a letter of referral for future jobs – consideration for paying jobs in future projects we work on

An internship period is 30 hours of work completed within 60 days, and we can be flexible with your class or existing work schedules to find a time that works for us both.

If you have an interest in DIY film making, music, or film marketing and post production in general, this could be a great opportunity. Contact us by email first with a resume and a brief note stating your interest (what kind of tasks you're most interested in) and availability and we can talk more from there, helen@thehatcherymedia.com.
