GCR and Associates, Inc. is a New Orleans based consulting firm developing custom software solutions for private clients as well as state and federal government. Our developers create .NET desktop and web-based solutions. GCR has several positions open in New Orleans and Covington area.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Expert knowledge of Visual Studio.NET, .NET framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#

• Expert experience with .NET webforms or winforms applications

• Experience with a variety of Microsoft products

• Experience with XML

• Experience with web services

• Knowledge of report writing tools such as Active Reports

• Expert Knowledge of Microsoft development tools: Visual Studio 2003, Visual Studio 2005/2008, Visio, Microsoft Project and Team Foundation Server

• Experience with Java Script

• Expert skills with SQL and experience with stored procedures

• Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server

• Demonstrated experience with complex database structures

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum B.S. in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum 2+ Years of .NET experience but also seeking candidates with 5 to 10+ years of experience.

• Experience with the full software lifecycle covering requirements, design, development, unit testing, and delivery of custom software.
