New Beginnings Schools Foundation is currently looking for a Data and Compliance Manager to oversee the data and compliance requirements for each of its four charter schools.
About New Beginnings Schools Foundation
The Capital One – University of New Orleans Charter Network was formed as a joint partnership between the New Beginnings Schools Foundation Capital One Bank and the University of New Orleans. Since its inception, the Capital One University of New Orleans Charter Network has provided New Orleans' students with access to a quality pre-K through college education. The mission of the organization is to serve as a catalyst for city-wide and regional economic development. New Beginnings Schools Foundation, Capital One and the University of New Orleans have created a system of K-12 open enrollment public schools that have incorporated the best practices of higher education and private industry to ensure that New Orleans’ students are prepared for future academic, personal and professional success. New Beginnings Schools Foundation currently serves more than1,600 students at Pierre A. Capdau, Medard Nelson, Gentilly Terrace and Thurgood Marshall Early College High School.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the collection and timely submission of data reports for New Beginnings Schools Foundation and each of its four charter schools.
• Coordinate the submission of federal and state funding applications for New Beginnings Schools Foundation and each of its four charter schools.
• Ensure compliance will all applicable local, state and federal compliance regulations.
• Serve as the primary compliance liaison for all independent, state and federal audits.
• Provide New Beginnings Schools Foundation leadership with weekly data reports to monitor progress on quantative performance goals.
• Work with the director of development to identify potential sources of funding to support New Beginnings Schools Foundation and each of its four charter schools.
Qualifications
• BA/BS required, Masters preferred
• Experience working with state and federal grant programs
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with attention to detail
• Database management skills required
• Ability to gather data, analyze information and prepare reports
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks
