IT Director

The IT Director works closely with the Leadership Team to develop and maintain a corporate IT vision that supports the strategic goals of the business and provides daily guidance to IT support staff for prioritizing resources and efforts in support of the daily business requirements to fulfill client demands. The IT Director will manage the needs and expectations of the business users, management, and clients in accordance with the capabilities and resources available to the IT function.

Responsibilities will include:

Ability to create and maintain a corporate IT vision. Understand the strategic goals of the corporation as well as those goals of each business facility. Learn the responsibilities of the functional departments and understand the approaches and tools of current functional management to meet those responsibilities as it relates to necessary IT support.

Develop metrics for measuring, monitoring, and reporting utilization of IT resources. Monitor, review, and report metrics with IT resources and management in conjunction with assessing capabilities and assets available for existing and new IT initiatives.

Provide management overview for all IT staff, including remote staff. Manage IT staffing issues, ongoing and future projects.

Provide daily management direction for IT infrastructure and applications both proprietary & off the shelf systems (including all platforms). Meet with management to provide IT support for existing and new initiatives for process improvement, cost and labor reductions.

Review services contracted/employed for IT hardware, software, data and telecommunications on a continual basis for facility and corporate IT functions: Utilization, Service level delivered vs. business need Improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree, or higher, in Computer Science or related field 10 years of experience; preferably in service organization (i.e. law firm, accounting firm) Experience managing team Information Systems expertise, including necessary certifications Strong metrics/reporting aptitude Must be comfortable working with all management levels Some extended hours and travel necessary
