Healing Hearts for Community Development is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the psycho-social needs of the people in the New Orleans area. The mission of HHCD is to bring help, hope and healing to individuals and families through mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment and prevention programming provided through its Celebration Hope Center.

HHCD seeks an energetic, creative, and dependable intern who can work a flexible schedule (min. 3 to 4 hours per week) and can commit to at least three months. Responsibilities include maintaining two websites through Wordpress, posting newsletters, imbedding video and other photography into the websites.

A personal laptop would be an asset but not a necessity. Intern can work onsite or offsite. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) would also be an asset. This is an un-paid internship, but is a great opportunity to get hands on work experience in the non-profit sector.
