Ochsner is currently seeking a Accounting Manager for the following: Manage the daily operations of the Cash and AR reconciliation Group. This group is responsible for the following:
· Overall daily Cash function
· Bank Reconciliations
· Daily balancing of Patient AR to General Ledger
· Non Patient AR billing
· Sales Tax and unclaimed property reporting
· Benefit Accounting
·
Demonstrates actions consistent with Ochsner's "Expectations' as duties are performed on a daily basis.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and at least 5 years of relative work experience. Certified Public Accountant designation a plus. Prior Management and experience in a large Accounting Function preferred. Experience with Lawson or other large ERP system is a plus.

Demonstrate the ability to take ownership and manage shifting priorities. Must have excellent judgment, decision-making, analytical, and communication skills. Must be a critical thinker and excellent problem solver.
