Job Summary:
This professional accounting management position is responsible for maintaining a high standard accounting function including general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, cost accounting and decision support. The Controller supervises the employees in the Accounting Department, assists the Chief Financial Officer with the annual budget and other projects as requested. The Controller works with external auditors and consultants. As the Controller, this position works actively with other Team Leaders in communicating and coordinating accounting functions which affect all departments. The Controller performs a wide range of financial, operational and management tasks. In addition, the Controller will assist the Chief Financial Officer in the management of the daily operations of the Business Office.

***Must be available to work extended hours as needed for month end close, quarterly inventory and other special projects.

Qualifications/Specifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience. MBA Preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: CPA license with an active permit to practice preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five years healthcare financial management experience preferred.
