Education Director
Southern Rep, now in our 25th Season of bringing New Plays to New Orleans, seeks a Part-Time Education Director. The ideal candidate will possess the experience and enthusiasm necessary to help us expand our exciting education and outreach offerings. The Education Director oversees all educational programming, including designing, implementing, and managing our child/teen and adult classes, as well as overseeing and teaching in-school classes for our innovative Yo Nola Junior Theatre Company. The Education Director recruits and supervises Education Interns, plus manages and hires a diverse roster of teaching artists.

Proven experience in development of marketing and outreach strategies is a must. Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in theatre education for grades K-12 (at least 2 years of this experience in New Orleans), as well as experience in marketing and budgeting. Candidates must have excellent written and organizational skills, and graphic design experience is a plus! Southern Rep is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
