Bookkeeping responsibilities:
• Monitoring/overseeing organizational budget; communicating with staff about expenses
• Managing accounts payable and receivable; synchronizing gift intakes; processing staff salaries
• Bookkeeper will be responsibly to develop and submit budget drafts as needed by the Hillel Board throughout the FY in a timely manner.
• Submitting all materials needed for the various grants and allocations processes.
Skills Needed:
Proficient in Quickbooks, highly organized, can work well with others and can take initiative and responsibility.
Compensation:
This position will pay $15 an hour, three days per week, five hours each working day. The Tulane Hillel Bookkeeper will be expected to do their work in the Hillel building.
