Position Description

The Program Coordinator for the International Association for Research on Service-learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IARSLCE administrative home.

Duties include daily correspondence with association members and board, budget management, listerv and website management, annual conference support, and record keeping. This position requires 28 hours of weekly work and some travel. Weekly schedule is negotiable, but must occur during the normal business hours. Hourly pay with benefits.

This position is ideal for someone with an alternate part-time project.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree

-Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software required; including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point

-Willingness to travel and work some non-traditional hours

-Knowledge of WordPress or similar website management system

-Experience with conference or event-planning

-Excellent oral and written communication skills required, bookkeeping experience
