Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Strong computer skills required: Primavera, Crystal Reports, Access, SQL Server
Position Summary:
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for Managing the Project Controls team and report generation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage Project Controls Staff
• Review and verify reports generate
• Prepare analysis of reports indicating date changes
• An active role in providing all basic requirements in the cost, planning and scheduling of engineering, procurement and construction of facilities.
• Automate reports by developing and modifying Crystal Reports which pulls data from multiple data sources (Back end of P6 & Access which is on SQL Server) for Recovery Program.
• Expedite reporting methodology
• Create Ad-hoc reports for stakeholders
• Importing Contractor Schedules from sure track & P3 into P6.
• Uploading Status, Milestones, Critical Issues to the Input Database from an excel spreadsheet by writing update queries in SQL
• Maintenance of Input Access database
• Update & Maintain Schedules on an as needed basis.
• Monitoring of project funding status.
• Creating Views on SQL Server
• Upload P6 data on the City’s Website through Sitecore (a web content management system)
• Develop Access databases & deploying it within Capital Projects.
• Migrating the P6 database to new Production server
• P6 administration – Unlocking locked user profiles, granting access & permissions to the users.
• SQL Server Administration
• Backups & Restores of P6 database
• Troubleshoot issues related to P6 & Website

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
• RDBMS- Oracle 9i/8i/7.x (SQL, PL/SQL), SQL SERVER, MS Access
• ETL Tools- Informatica (Power Center 7.x/6.2), SQL*Loader
• Operating Systems- UNIX (Sun Solaris, HP Unix, LINUX), Windows 95/98/2000, WIN XP
• Version Control- Star Team, PVCS
• Bug Tracking tools- Test Director, Mercury Quality Center
• Languages- SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripts, HTML, DHTML, C, C++, XML
• Other Skills- Primavera, Crystal Reports Visual Basic 5.0/6.0, Developer 2000, Toad 6.3
