We are: A small, energetic New Orleans-based team that builds innovative Human Resources software. We are looking for someone to take charge of the beta launch for our latest web product.

You are: Someone who knows, uses, and thrives on the web and social networks. You're a terrific writer, have a strong sense of web marketing strategy, and know how to organize people online and get them talking. You probably blog, tweet, and run a Facebook group. You work really well on your own and you enjoy taking charge of a project. (Bonus points if you also have some background in running job boards or recruiting programs). More details/requirements below.

The product: We're ready to launch a groundbreaking web app for small businesses. In short, it helps small companies hire great people. We need someone to devote about 15 hours a week (and a lot of heart) to getting the word out about it.

The job: This is a work-from-anywhere sort of gig. Fine if you have a day job and want to moonlight on this, but we need at least 15 hours of your energy each week. The job will last at least 90 days (the span of the beta launch), and if we all like working with each other, we'll talk about a longer-term, higher-paid relationship. New Orleans-based applicants will be considered first, but all are encouraged to apply!

Ideal Candidate

The must-haves (requirements):

• Strong writing skills
• Good sense of humor
• Experience with a wide range of web apps, tools & Web technology- including but not limited to social/professional networking
• Serious personal interest in Web technology and trends
• Great at self-starting and running your own hours
• Enjoy networking and pitching ideas to likeminded people.

The nice-to-haves (bonus):

• Knowledge of HR tools & software
• Graphic Design abilities
• Previous experience in hiring/HR/recruiting/job boards
