Ochsner is currently seeking a Strategic Program Manager for the following: Align with Executive Operating Committee’s prioritization of Strategic Programs that align with the Strategic Imperatives. Partner with Champion and program Leader to prepare for the tollgate reviews required for each strategic program. In partnership with leader, responsible for design, development, and deployment of the program by using lean, workout, CAP, innovation and project management skill-set. In addition to partnering with Strategic Programs, each innovation expert will need to coach 10 lean projects/ year, conduct lean training quarterly, and ensure standardization to tollgate using project management tools that currently exist.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Preference towards Master’s degree (MHA/ MBA). 3 years experience in a Healthcare setting or as a lean/ six sigma black belt. Fast track employee who can learn and apply new skills sets quickly. Experience in leading teams to deliver results. 2 year role then transition back to operations.

Must be computer literate with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Strong influencing skills and team building skills required. Effective communication skills within all levels of the organization. Must be able to provide outside industry ideas, innovative approaches, and be able to drive change.
