Go Local NOLA is a community minded organization helping locally owned businesses promote their products and services through the Go Local NOLA rewards card program. The aim is to encourage people to buy from locally owned businesses. Started in Austin, the Go Local Cards program has been spreading across many cities. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a company whose business model is rooted in helping businesses within the New Orleans community.

We are looking for an intern interested in Marketing and Sales to help create and implement grassroots social media marketing and some traditional marketing plans; as well as help with sales when necessary. Hours are very flexible and although this is an unpaid internship…if you happen to close some sales; you will keep the commission.

This internship is an amazing learning opportunity. You will not only learn about social media marketing and sales but also about business and what it takes to make a startup successful. You will also get to meet and get to know many of the local business owners in New Orleans and find out about the challenges facing them.
