Position Summary: Full and Part time position are available. You will be trained in flagging and communication for the Nola Motorsports Park Racing Facility. You will communicate with customers, event staff and display track conditions using a combination of colored flags or safety light systems. Your primary objective is to provide information to the drivers about the track condition, track safety and Geaux Kart operation with a smile.

Position Description:

• Learn and understand radio communications protocols
• Learn and understand the proper use of fire extinguishers
• Learn and understand proper safety rules as applied to flagging
• Learn Geaux Kart safety and operation
• Learn a working knowledge of race formats
• Participate in ongoing training to include CPR and first-aid training and recertification
• Operate Timing and Scoring
• Other duties as assigned
Other
• Be a prompt and reliable employee.
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Arrive for each shift with a clean, pressed uniform and a clean and professional appearance
• Individual must be able to work a variety of hours and shifts.
• Must have a current driver’s license
• Prior experience and/or training in road race flagging and communications is a plus, but not required

Position Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each previously stated duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to succeed in this position, along with the Ability to work outside for long periods of time, focus, lift 75 lbs, work weekends and work well with others. Background check and a drug test will be required. Also, must be 18 years or older and hold a valid driver's license.
