ASI Federal Credit Union and its sister affiliate nonprofit A Shared Initiative, Inc. (ASII) are seeking dynamic, results-driven candidates for the position of Funds Development Officer/Grant Writer. The Fund Development Officer/Grant Writer will assist in forging new relationships to build ASI-ASII’s reputation, visibility, impact and financial resources. Additionally, this person will contribute to expanding and diversifying ASI-ASII by securing funding for new initiatives on an ongoing basis and designing and implementing a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances. The Fund Development Officer/Grant Writer will work closely with both organizations to grow our budget through solicitation of major gifts, federal, state and local grants and corporate and foundation support, with an annual goal of $250,000 in additional funding. The qualified candidate will provide high level support for the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Community Development in the area of grant reporting. We are looking for a dependable self-starter with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills.
