This technical support position is for a virtual IT firm that supports small-to-large businesses in the New Orleans area. Work will be fast-paced and rewarding; quick, accurate ticket resolutions will be greatly valued.
A successful candidate will be:
• Self-sufficiently knowledgeable
• Friendly and polite to clients
• Articulate in speech and writing
Responsibilities
• Resolve customer problems as quickly and correctly as possible (preferably on first call)
• Elevate advanced issues to the proper team member
• Keep track of issues – and the time spent on them – through the company’s formal ticketing process
• Maintain client environment documentation and information
Qualifications
• A+ certification
• Network+ certification preferred
• Apple certifications and experience a big plus
• Other IT certifications (MCSE, MS SQL, Cisco, etc.) a plus
• Two or more years working in an Information Technology position
• Experience with MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• The ability to troubleshoot viruses, slow connections, login issues, email failures, drive mapping requests, system compatibility problems, and more
• High school diploma or equivalent
• College degree preferred
Full-time position salary is $30,000/annual, depending on experience. Employees are also eligible for medical, dental, life insurance plans and performance bonuses.
All candidates will be required to pass an IT knowledge assessment test.
