VOLUNTEER FOR POSSE:
HELP SELECT THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS:
Since 1989, The Posse Foundation has identified, recruited and trained 3,638 urban high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential to become Posse Scholars. These students—many of whom might have been overlooked by traditional college selection processes—receive four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships from one of Posse’s 39 partner institutions. Posse Scholars graduate at a rate of 90 percent and make a visible difference on campus and throughout their professional careers.
DYNAMIC ASSESSMENT PROCESS (DAP):
From September through December each year, Posse conducts the Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP), a unique evaluation method designed to identify young leaders who might be missed by traditional admissions criteria, but who can excel at selective colleges and universities.
Volunteers help evaluate students during the DAP I Large Group Interviews. Groups of 80 students from the New Orleans area come together for group interviews and participate in a series of interactive activities that highlight teambuilding, leadership and critical thinking skills. We welcome all volunteers passionate about Posse’s mission and goals!
