Responsible for coordinating Facilities Development and OHS efforts on construction projects, ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within budget. Regularly interfaces with clinical and support divisions of OHS. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education, Experience & Training:
Bachelor of Architecture degree with 5 years relevant work experience. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Revit. Knowledge of Navisworks is preferred.

B. Other Qualifications:
Ability to work under stressful situations, appropriate interpersonal skills and good oral, written and telephone communication skills, assume leadership role in groups as requested/needed. Will be expected to lead some project teams of Users, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, etc. from programming through construction completion and user move-in. Initiates, supports and facilitates the change process within the professional setting in concert with institutional goals and objectives. Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities. Must have appropriate transportation to travel between all Ochsner facilities.

C. Physical Demands:
Ability to transport, for short distances, rolls of plans and boxes of specifications weighing from 5 to 35 pounds regularly to table height and on occasion overhead. Moving throughout the department, the hospital and between off campus sites is required. Climbing, standing, computer use and variable work hours are required.
