Ur Way Yogurt & Coffee Bar, located in the heart of Mid-City on Tulane Ave., is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We will serve: coffee, pastries, specialty items, and the best soft-serve yogurt in town.

We are currently looking for an experienced Barista who can help us implement our great new coffee program.

The ideal Barista will be a team leader with the ability to help train our staff and educate our customers in the fine art of the perfect cup of coffee. Obviously latte art and being able to dial in to an espresso machine are required. Also, a knowledge of coffee from understanding flavor profiles and origins, to brewing methods, to understanding how different drinks are made are a must.

We are looking for someone laid back and friendly to help establish the right welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the cafe. Mainly we want someone who can pull those sweet, perfect espresso shots and make awesome drinks. The ideal candidate must also be accustomed to early mornings and a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Additional Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a coffee house
• Experience in creating latte art.
• Experience with La Cimbali Espresso equipment and BUNN coffee machines
• Knowledge of coffee grinders and the ability to adjust the grind for the perfect espresso shot.
• Ability to complete machine maintenance.
