Self-motivated Public Relations Social Media Intern to work for Jesuit Church’s fundraising initiatives. Reports directly to Associate Pastor, working closely with Director of Stewardship.

Candidate must have excellent organizational and communications skills required for multitasking interaction. Candidate must have a proven track record of understanding basic marketing and promotion principles and achieving success using a wide variety of social media platforms. Excellent writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines are a must.

Responsibilities:
Develop strategic social media PR plans and execute social media tactics that achieve church and related ministry goals. Candidate will arrive during multi-event season, and have ability to grasp similar yet distinct initiative mission of various church affiliated endeavors.
Develop, monitor and manage multiple social media presences for our the church

Cultivate social media communities, post appropriate content and respond quickly to comments and feedback on all social media channels

Develop and manage day-to-day relationships with social media and PR resources

Develop relationships with church representatives to engage in traditional and social media
Metrics/Analytics:

Identify achievable initiative goals, develop benchmarks, establish effective analytics tools and monitor and report on our effectiveness using social media outlets

Build and manage metrics analysis and reporting for multiple projects

Manage multiple social media campaigns and PR campaigns with knowledge of end goal results
Qualifications:

Experience managing successful social media initiatives, preferably for a non-profit

Ability to have a big picture vision and be self-motivated to work independently

Must have portfolio of past projects developed to present

Have a passion for greater marketplace creative opportunities to implement appropriately for a church community
