Overview
Works with Account Director indirectly and Account Supervisor directly, as well as other account team members to ensure management, completion and implementation of day-to-day (retail) in-store marketing and mass media efforts and projects. Acts as daily liaison between the agency and the client. Assists team in achieving client marketing objectives with effectiveness to ensure strong and lasting agency/client relationships and efficiency that result in profit for the agency.
Responsibilities include:
•Responsibile for the day-to-day management of a large telecommunications account, specifically on the client’s retail (180+ stores) marketing and sales objectives.
•Working in partnership with all agency departments and the client, managing day-to-day projects that are on time, within scope, on strategy, and within budget.
•Working with the team to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that lead to successful campaigns.
•Ensuring that the agency relationship helps produce measurable results for the client by providing appropriate support to team members.
•Working with team to ensure agency/client relationships are mutually profitable.
•Providing documentation to client and internal team for project download/scope of work, communicating client goals and objectives to agency departments.
•Managing the day-to-day progress of retail projects such as drive-to-retail mass media, POP (point of purchase), collateral and advertising campaigns.
•Assisting with strategic documents as needed.
•Proposing, presenting, and initiating specific projects to help reach client objectives.
•Seeking input from other agency departments as required.
•Supporting supervisor in completing projects as needed, including billing.
Required Skills:
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.
•Minimum two years in an account service function in advertising or marketing industry. Telecom experience preferred.
•Past experience working with large retail clients (footprint of 75+ stores) preferred.
•Past experience working with retail marketing communications elements, such as POP (point of purchase), retail sales collateral and drive-to-retail mass media campaigns preferred.
•Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
•Excellent time management skills.
•Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
•Critical thinker with outstanding analytical capabilities.
•Ability to execute multiple end-to-end projects efficiently.
•Ability to do possible travel and attend client promotional events and functions.
