About PUfAP:
We are a neighborhood group of New Orleans residents and stakeholder organizations who demand action to get Armstrong Park and everything inside of it restored and revitalized. For far too long the park has sat empty, the buildings inside crumbling. As citizens, we are united in our efforts to get the city’s attention. We are the People United for Armstrong Park.
PUfAP is presently undertaking the strategic planning and community engagement processes necessary to move the redevelopment projects in Armstrong Park forward. This summer, PUfAP, with large amounts of support from our partner organizations and many others in the community, has led the charge to get the Park gates opened through a 1,500-strong petition drive. PUfAP is now generating a formal community vision plan for the Park and its assets borne from the ideas and input of a wide coalition of local residents and institutions.
