Federated Sample is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our global product development team. We are a market research technology startup headquartered in New Orleans. Our clients use our flagship products, Fulcrum and Samplicio.us, to manage and execute complex, large-scale online sampling projects (surveys). The QA Analyst will work closely with Product Managers and other business stakeholder to understand the requirements of each rollout. The Analyst will develop and execute comprehensive test plans with fully detailed test cases for each feature. The Analyst will then collate results and work with Product Managers and Development team in resolving bugs and issues.

Requirements/Experience:

• Three to five years of hands-on QA experience
• Experience with high volume and high performance web applications
• Basic SQL experience required
• Experience with .NET technologies preferred, but not required
• Experience with testing automation tools such as Selenium is preferred
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and ability to analyze product changes for its effect on all components of the product
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills a must
• Must be extremely thorough and detail oriented
• Self-motivated and independent worker, who can thrive in a fast paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze each rollout plan to develop the corresponding test plans and test cases from business and technical requirements.
• Execute test cases and work with development teams and product managers to resolve issues and bugs.
• Classify bugs and issues by the severity of their impact and issue opinion on rollouts
• Manage the testing environment by identifying and developing the required test data
• Work with the Development QA team in building regression and other automated test suites.
• Participate in Product Design and Software Design sessions and own the quality component of the product.
• Continually integrate QA best practices into the firm’s processes.
