Boasting an international clientele, NMD creates and executes high-level applications in both web and mobile environments with a focus on interactive marketing via email, social media, SMS / text and web. Clients include the Canadian Tourism Commission, ASAE, Corpus Christi CVB, Watch Systems, and RE/MAX.

Responsibilities
As a Web Developer/Programmer at NMD/eMerge, you will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple advanced web applications and sites. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: – Developing intuitive and compelling user interfaces using standards-compliant HTML and Javascript; – Creating and maintaining underlying PHP object-oriented codebase; – MySQL database design and optimization; – Working closely with graphic designers and other development team members; – Implementing advanced tools and techniques into existing web applications.

Requirements
This position requires knowledge and experience with the following set of tools: – PHP5; – MySQL; – HTML/CSS; – Javascript (including jQuery & AJAX); – Adobe Creative Suite (including Dreamweaver and Photoshop); – Subversion and version control systems.

Helpful Experience – Python; – Linux server administration; – Cloud hosting environments; – Remote web services and API integration.
