Laitram L.L.C., has an opening for an Accountant. Primary responsibilities include financial and cost accounting through financial statements and analysis. Additional responsibilities include management reporting and analysis, budgets, and special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
· Monthly close responsibilities through consolidated financial statements.
· Identify and analyze key items in the monthly financial statements.
· Perform ad hoc financial and cost analysis projects.
· Develop budget information and analysis.
· Participate in satisfying external audit and other compliance requirements.
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting
· 1 – 3 years of experience
· Strong analytical skills and inquisitive nature
· Strong computer aptitude; specifically, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, exposure to accounting
systems and query tools.
· Self-managed, organized and proactive
· Initiative to challenge the status quo with manager and peers
· Strong communication skills
· Motivated; positive attitude; team player
Desired Qualifications:
· CPA
· Experience in a manufacturing environment
· Experience with Oracle systems
