Established restaurant supply company is seeking an energetic self-starter for Accounting Clerk position. Responsible for a wide array of accounting support functions & general office duties critical to the successful operation of the company. Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Ability to interact with others in a positive and confidential manner. This position clerk will work closely with the controller, staff, and clients. Responsibilities will include accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Experience in accounts payable invoices, check disbursement, and coding to general ledger is required.
•Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing and collections.
•Applicant must have excellent technical knowledge of invoice processing and analysis techniques as well as strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors.
Experience: Two year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
