Federated Sample is looking for a Technical Lead to join our global product development team. Our clients use our flagship products, Fulcrum and Samplicio.us, to manage and execute complex, large-scale online sampling projects (surveys). Our development centers are located in New Orleans, Singapore, and Manila, Philippines.

The Technical Lead will manage parts of our development team and will be accountable for execution and delivery.

Requirements/Experience

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science
• Seven years of hands-on software development experience in C# and .NET framework
• Outstanding people management skills and demonstrated ability in coaching and developing talent
• Strong Object Oriented Programming skills
• Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with implementing software for high-volume transactional systems
• Strong SQL and Database performance tuning skills
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, and other associated technologies
• Experience in working in an Agile environment, with rapidly changing requirements and tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop strong knowledge of business and product features. Function as the primary technical contact for all functionality related questions from business stakeholders and product managers
• Interpret new feature requests and lead data model design, class and interface design, and other design aspects to support the feature implementation
• Partner with Creative Director (UX Architect) in finalizing the User Experience behaviors and components
• Assist Project Manager with technical work breakdown structure, estimation, dependency analysis and resource allocation.
• Develop technical design documentation where applicable
• Contribute to implementation of key, mission critical features. This is a hands-on role, with development responsibilities
• Establish coding standards and guidelines. Lead code review sessions for all developed software and enforce establish standards
• Accountable for delivery and software quality
• Actively assist in issue resolution and emergency bug fixes and rollouts
• Demonstrate proficiency in leading design and implementation for all layers of the application stack, including user interface, business logic, data modeling and systems and component integration
