The Louisiana Restaurant Association has an opening for a Chapter Member Service Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position is detail oriented, quality conscious, customer focused, assertive, confident, and committed with a positive attitude and works well in a team environment.

This candidate is responsible for assisting with organization and development of association chapter-related activities such as events/meetings, fundraisers, golf tournaments and in other areas as directed. Build and maintain relationships with Regional Directors and association members by staying apprised of association activities, policies and services to respond to inquiries.

Individual will manage multiple calendars, tasks and activities. It is imperative that the individual have excellent communication skills and also be highly organized.

Administrative responsibilities include chapter and staff support activities such as answering incoming calls, voicemail, email responses, copying, invoicing, email and follow up. Maintain and create chapter files and update as necessary. Flexibility to attend some chapter committee and board meetings that will occur outside of regular business hours.

Skills:
• Demonstrative working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong administrative skills and ability to plan, organize and prioritize workload effectively.
• Ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with staff and members.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Works independently
• Manage multiple tasks

Experience and Education
• Four year degree and/or work experience preferred
