The New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation seeks to hire a full-time developer with 3-5 years plus experience in .Net, experience with the creation of web services and with SQL 2005-2008 and very experienced in working with diverse requirements and systems.

Among other projects, this individual will build web-based data entry applications for criminal justice functions, a portal for customizable queries & reports which mines multiple databases and linked documents, and web services for interaction of a data-sharing platform with multiple applications. This would include development of the applications and queries with appropriate password security protection and audit trails of access and use. Work will be performed primarily on-site in New Orleans.

In addition to these requirements, the following qualifications will also be considered: Knowledge of and experience with NIEM 2.0, criminal justice business processes, SQL Reporting Services, legacy COBOL and RPG systems, and MS Visual Studio.
