The Louisiana Restaurant Association seeks a full-time sales representative for its Foodservice & Hospitality EXPO—now in its 59th year. The EXPO is the largest, most comprehensive industry tradeshow in the Gulf Coast Region.
The individual will be prospecting, qualifying, cold calling companies that service the foodservice and hospitality industries within the state, regionally and nationally. These companies range from foodservice distributors, food products, technology, linens, insurance, and related products. Candidate must be well organized with superb time management skills and deliver on closed booth sales year round.
Interacting with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction and with a strong sense of customer service is a must. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to confidently meet face-to-face with prospects at industry tradeshows, events and meetings.
Individual must have a minimum of five years of business to business sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. Base salary, benefits and aggressive commission structure for new exhibitor space. Some travel required.
