Data Assistant/Interviewer
STD Surveillance Network Project

Acadiana C.A.R.E.S. in conjunction with the STD/HIV Program is seeking a Data Assistant/Interviewer for a federally funded STD Project. Duties include, but are not limited to conducting telephone interviews with eligible patients, contacting medical providers to collect medical information, data entry, and assisting in data analysis and reports. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree, fluency in written and oral English, experience in interviewing individuals, particularly related to sensitive topics, organizational skills, ability to work independently; preferred qualifications include Masters degree, experience and knowledge regarding epidemiology and disease research/surveillance and proficiency in Excel, Access, and SAS/SPSS. Some statewide travel; valid driver’s license and transportation required.
