Absolute Lawn Care LA, a green industry leader in the Great New Orleans area, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential & Commercial Landscape Sales/Designer with a contagious passion for creating and selling beautiful, high-end landscape dreams to property owners.

Do you enjoy the gratification of closing that tough lead? Love networking, meeting new people, and finding great new prospects? This is the job for you! We need someone with a thirst for sales and a proven ability to sell $300,000+ per year.

Your personal portfolio should include both large- and small-scale projects. Position requires knowledge of plant materials, landscape and hardscape design, and construction specifications relating to landscape architecture. Knowledge of irrigation design is helpful, but not essential. Experience with site analysis, project measurements, client presentations, and effective hand rendering (CAD skills a plus!) are essential.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Going on sales calls to meet with both residential and commercial customers
• Designing landscapes
• Leading landscape install crews
• Speaking with customers on the phone often
• Use of a computer (we use a robust suite of tools to keep track of our relationships with our customers and record keeping of payments)
• Manual labor when needed

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or similar experience
• 5+ years' experience in sales/design
• Life-cycle project management, from prospecting and sales through construction and change orders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to sometimes work beyond normal working hours (8am – 5pm weekdays)
• Problem solving skills and proven time management are a must
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
