Jack of all Trades- Maintenance Position Available for French Quarter Properties

We are looking for a Jack of all Trades who is knowledge, proactive and extremely detailed oriented.

Perform service requests as required in a timely manner. Make recommendations to the Property Manager for needed repairs and improvements. Change locks as needed, light plumbing, light electrical, weekly walk-thrus of all properties. We also have some advanced construction work that needs to be done and can be discussed in the interview.

Ideally this will be part-time position – roughly 3 days a week plus MUST be available for emergency calls, however currently we have plenty of work and should be able to keep someone busy for a while at roughly a full time schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Must be able to diagnose and fix repairs.
• Light cleaning & yard work as needed.

Job Requirements:
• Must be trustworthy & dependable.
• Must have intermediate plumbing, appliance, and electrical skills.
• Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of sheet rock and carpentry experience.
• A proactive, motivated, well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
• Ability to multi-task, and manage time, as well as possess an orientation toward details.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must possess reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license & auto insurance.
