The Studio Specialist will be expected to act as design and prepress support in order to ensure flawless implementation and delivery of print, collateral, and OOH tactics through the utilization of Adobe Creative Suite 5. The position requires the capability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while creating mechanically sound digital artwork files and ultimately delivering those assets on time. The candidate will be responsible for working with Production, Project Management, and Creative in an effort to deliver all assets within a given time frame. A digital and hard copy portfolio will be required for viewing.

Responsibilities include:
-Resizing, fixing, updating and pre-flighting current artwork that is being delivered to vendors outside of the agency using Adobe Creative Suite 5 and Acrobat Pro. Will also work in accordance with amendments set by Project Management, Creative and Account Service departments.

-Adjustment of mechanical/lithographic features and photo retouching/image manipulation tasks that relate to proofing and any pre-press design. Delivering and receiving these files/proofs may also be required.

-Contributions to design workflow and asset efficiency within a Production Studio, including managing multiple projects and working with multiple departments.

Required Skills:
-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.

-Up to four years pre-press and/or graphic design experience in a high-volume workplace.

-High skill level in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Professional, Acrobat Distiller, Suitcase, and Interarchy.

-Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).

-Proficiency with timeline animation and graphic optimization in Flash.

-Good understanding of traditional production practices (digital experience a plus).

-Knowledge of mechanical file specifications. Familiarity with all file formats and file conversion.

-Strong critical thinking skills and keen attention to detail.

-Good time management skills.

-Composure under high-pressure situations.

-Adobe Certification a plus but not required.
