Artz Bagelz is now hiring a new team member to work in our kitchen. This will be a full-time position (approx. 32-35 hours per week). We prefer experience in a fast-paced kitchen. Kitchen Crew personnel will work closely with and report directly to the Kitchen Lead on duty. Their main responsibility is completing customer orders and assisting in meal preparation. In addition to food preparation duties, Kitchen Crew personnel are expected to perform kitchen maintenance tasks and other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Lead. This position will require proficiency in a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils including chopping knives and vegetables grinders as well as a clear understanding and adherence to a high food safety standard.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:
• Prepare customer orders in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality and food consistency o Portion control
• Handle food storage and preparation in accordance to food safety and company standards
• Perform kitchen maintenance tasks as assigned by Kitchen Lead including but not limited to: o Wash dishes o Empty trash
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area in accordance with Artz Bagelz guidelines o Setup kitchen for opening and cleanup kitchen for closing
• Prepare food components as assigned by the Kitchen Lead including but not limited to: o Chopping vegetables o Making cream cheese spreads, sides, and salads o Slicing deli meats and cheeses o Portion control (i.e. weighing meats) o Cooking breakfast meats as necessary
