Creative Industry is a marketing, urban and cultural planning consultancy with a thirty year history in New Orleans that has been instrumental in key economic, cultural, environmental and hospitality developments.

We have worked with interns throughout our history, to the benefit of our interns, firm and city. We believe in making substantive project assignments, while our interns support a broad range of initiatives.

Creative Industry, is seeking a Spring/Summer intern to help with development of marketing strategies and a new business plan.

For students interested in communications, marketing, cultural, economic and business development, environmental affairs and public administration, Creative Industry offers an exceptional opportunity.

We will provide you with the preliminary information you will need to research and create a detailed plan.

Currently, Creative Industry services include a focus on the hospitality and tourism industry including, but are not limited to:

- Marketing, Publicity and Media Relations – Event Production – Unique Cultural Services, Tours and Experiences – Weekly radio show Crosstown Conversations on WBOK1230am – Newsletter Outreach.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a business, hospitality or marketing program at their local university or college, experienced with writing business/marketing plans, and who can make a part-time commitment to this project while working in-house at Creative Industry. Work is often deadline oriented and requires focus, good organization, computer skills, and willingness to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
Interns will also gain experience with marketing and media campaigns, writing press releases, request for proposals, crafting press kits and the development and execution of hospitality services.
