The music business is changing and now record companies are being asked to do more than just make great music. Artists are expected to maintain a web and social media presence that is becoming a key driver of sales both online and off. Born Hustler Records is seeking a bright and motivated intern to teach and then lead the media management department of the company. This will require close work with the CEO Kim Roberts. It is our hope that the intern will show enough merit for a full time position as Media Manager to handle the company's catalog and archive as well as web and social media presence.

You will have the option of working from home and will be encourage to do so. However, if we deem someone worthy of an office space we will rent space from one of the many co-working spaces around the city. We are willing to be flexible if you are willing to work hard.

You should be well schooled and networked on your campus or neighborhood FIRST, then facebook, myspace, youtube, twitter, etc. Other skills that would make you stand apart from other applicants include Web/graphic design, web development, music talent, video editing, audio editing, film/video production, audio production, event production, event promotion, tour management, booking, copywriting, publicity, finance, accounting and project manangement.
