Operation REACH is currently seeking individuals to contribute to its newest social enterprise, the Gulfsouth Youth Biodiesel Project. The Gulfsouth Youth Biodiesel project provides green job training for out-of-school youth in clean energy through the operation of an enterprise that converts used cooking oil into biodiesel fuel. We are currently seeking individuals who have the passion to contribute to a growing organization that has a strong track record of success. We are currently accepting applications for a Biodiesel Production Manager.

Nationally expanding New-Orleans based non-profit seeks Biodiesel Production Manager to assist in the operation of the organization’s newest social enterprise. The Biodiesel Production Manager will oversee operations of the Gulfsouth Youth Biodiesel Project’s production and teaching facility, with production of up to 2,000 gallons per day. The Production Manager will be responsible for establishing and implementing production and safety systems at this start-up facility as well as training for older youth participants. Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, hard-working, good with his/her hands and will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, engineering or science. Master’s degree and experience in technical production systems and education and training are strongly preferred. Position available immediately.

Location: New Orleans, LA
Salary: Depends upon experience.
